76화 첫 회의

10월 첫 주, 은호의 첫 지사 회의였다.

참석자는 넷이었다. 태경, 은호, MJ, 그리고 행정 담당 직원.

회의는 영어로 진행됐다. 은호는 절반쯤 알아들었고, 나머지는 눈치로 채웠다.

MJ가 물류 일정을 설명하는 중간에 은호가 손을 들었다.

"Sorry — the vendor contract says fourteen months, but the shipping schedule assumes twelve."

MJ가 자료를 다시 봤다. "…Ah. You're right."

태경이 은호를 봤다. 아주 잠깐이었다.

회의가 끝나고 MJ가 웃으며 말했다.

"You did that in your first meeting."

"…What?"

"Pointed out someone's mistake in front of the boss." MJ가 어깨를 으쓱했다. "That's the interview question, remember? He asked me what I'd do."

은호가 태경 쪽을 봤다.

태경은 자료를 정리하고 있었다. 표정이 없었다.

그런데 은호는 봤다. 입가가 아주 조금 올라가 있는 것을.

In the first week of October, Eunho attended his first branch meeting.

There were four of them. Taekyung, Eunho, MJ, and the administrative staff member.

The meeting ran in English. Eunho followed about half of it and pieced together the rest.

Partway through MJ's explanation of the shipping schedule, Eunho raised his hand.

"Sorry — the vendor contract says fourteen months, but the shipping schedule assumes twelve."

MJ checked his notes again. "…Ah. You're right."

Taekyung looked at Eunho. Only for a moment.

After the meeting, MJ said with a grin,

"You did that in your first meeting."

"…What?"

"Pointed out someone's mistake in front of the boss." He shrugged. "That's the interview question, remember? He asked me what I'd do."

Eunho glanced toward Taekyung.

He was straightening his papers. His face showed nothing.

But Eunho saw it. The corner of his mouth, very slightly raised.
