은호는 더 묻지 않았다. 다만 그 대답이 조금 이상하게 들렸다. 회사 서류라면서 왜 집으로 가져갔을까.

세관 검수 보고서가 떠올랐다. 맨 아래 서랍은 개인 소지품이라고 했다.

In the last week of April, construction began in the office.

With staff moving to the Singapore branch, the floor layout was changing. The third-floor archive room would be removed and replaced with two meeting rooms.

On Monday morning, a construction notice went up.

"The archive room is going."

"What about the cabinet?"

"Already moved," Taekyung said briefly. "Last week."

Eunho turned. Taekyung was looking at the notice.

"Into the Singapore shipment?"

"No."

"Then?"

"Home."

Eunho didn't ask further. But the answer sounded slightly off. If they were company records, why take them home?

The customs inspection report came back to him. The bottom drawer had been personal effects.
